Gordon TAFE
Integrilink installed for Energy Conservation Systems Pty Ltd their MLS lighting and HVAC control system at Gordon Tafe Building 13 in Geelong. With a combination of IR, Microwave and Ultrasonic motion sensors installed in different locations according to the size and shape of the target areas, the existing lighting in the public areas was no longer required to be on at all times but could be activated by pedestrian traffic.
The MLS system also incorporated a bus cabling system to allow for communication between different switch groups and allowed programming of selected switch groups to operate together by a motion sensor independent of that group. This also allowed interaction of the HVAC system in the building to be operated by motion sensors used for lighting control in the applicable areas which provided further energy consumption and therefore financial savings.
